AP-1 is a UnionPay digital card that empowers people to pay like a local in China without a local bank account, instantly sending money to UnionPay card members globally and Weixin wallets in China.

We were tasked to design and rebrand a card that represents a pioneering and innovative finance solution that resonate with the sophisticated and modern business traveller.

A Gateway, not Courier.

When doing business or travelling to China, people inadvertently feel like outsiders. From conversations to transaction, the chinese locals have a seamless and convenient way of doing things. While outsiders have to jump through hoops and hurdles to get anything done.

We wanted to play on the Aleta planet’s strengths as an enabler and gateway that allows users to seamlessly integrated and embed into China, like a local, all made possible with the UnionPay connection.
